The deck had a significant number of surface cracks — determined to be non-structural — along with general contamination, dirt buildup, and visibly damaged pool coping that all needed attention before any coating work could begin.

Our team pressure washed the entire deck area, then prepped the site by taping off the pool edge and floating bubble wrap on the water surface to catch overspray. We repaired all damaged coping sections and patched every surface crack. From there, the project used Duravel products exclusively for complete system compatibility — starting with a professional scratch coat, followed by recutting the joints once dried to restore crisp, clean lines. We then sprayed a premium Duravel knockdown texture across the full deck and finished with two coats of Duravel ColourSeal in "sun buff" for maximum durability and UV protection.
