Blastek Concrete Designs recently completed a full patio resurfacing project on Bees Drive in Asheville, NC. The existing patio and vertical walls needed pressure washing, crack repair, and surface prep before any coating work could begin. The crew started by pressure washing with heat and light chemicals to open and profile the concrete surface. After repairing the cracks, the team applied a skim coat across the patio and vertical walls, followed by a scratch coat of overlay. From there, they sprayed a knockdown texture across the entire patio and finished with two coats of sand buff tinted sealer for a clean, warm, uniform look. The result is a slip-resistant, professionally finished patio with a soft sand buff tone that blends naturally with the home and landscaping.
